Connie Ferguson Appreciates Shona’s Talent in a Heartfelt Post. Death continues to rob us off talent. This year alone we have lost many talented entertainers such as veteran actor Sam Phillips, award winning actress, Lindiwe Ndlovu, Gospel star Israel Mosehla, fashion icon and media personality, Wandi Nzimande, radio host Kabelo ‘KB’ Molopyane as well as Gospel star and pastor, Israel Mosehla.
One death though that left many shocked is that of Shona Ferguson who passed away on the 30th of July this year. It has been three months since his untimely death, and the nation is still in shock. Ferguson’s death has been a big blow to his industry peers, actors as well as fans around the country and beyond. The award winning actor and executive producer died form Covid-19 complications after being hospitalized for a while.
Although, he is no more, his talent continues to be appreciated in a big way. Ferguson recently got nominated at the HAP Awards, for Best Lead Lead Drama in a series. Connie, who has been her husband’s number one fan from the get go, took to social media to appreciate the nod. The actress and entrepreneur sang the praises of Ferguson in a heartfelt post.
“My dear husband, I always told you that you were my favorite actor to work with, and probably one of the most underrated in this country! Your talent was beyond! How you committed to each character you portrayed always left me in awe!? You will never be forgotten! EVER! I have always been proud of you, and you continue to make us proud beyond the grave!?? God is good.?? Bravo Mr. Sho!?????? Bravo!” Connie said.
She also took a moment to appreciate everyone who was behind Kings Of Joburg. The series which was dropped in November 2020, has also been nominated at the same awards under the Outstanding Drama Series in Africa category.
