The Queen Viewers Celebrate Harriet Khoza’s Return. The day that many have been waiting for finally arrived. Two weeks ago, Connie Ferguson shared a video of herself back on The Queen set. On the video, the award winning actress, producer and entrepreneur was in a very good mood as she greeted some of the cast and crew members.
Connie has been on leave since the untimely passing away of her husband Shona Ferguson on July 30th 2021. The award winning actor and executive producer died at the Milpark private hospital in Johannesburg after battling Covid-19. His death affected The Queen in so many ways, as cast and crew members had to work while still mourning. Connie, who is his widow, also had to take some time off to deal with the devastating loss.
As the say in showbiz, the show must go on, and this Wednesday evening was Connie made her much anticipated return. She plays Harriet Khoza on the Mzansi Magic telenovela, a woman who will do anything to protect her family, and make sure the family business reaches greater heights. Harriet is a lead actress, hence her absence made the storyline suffer a great deal. Even viewers were starting to complain saying The Queen is struggling with content.
Viewers were really excited, when they saw Harriet, and immediately The Queen trended on social media. It looks like the good old days are back.
