“One Year of Being An Orphan,” Lasizwe Remembers His Father A Year After His Passing
“One Year of Being An Orphan,” Lasizwe Remembers His Father A Year After His Passing. The loss of a parent is a very devastating experience. It’s even worse, if like Lasizwe you have lost both your parents. A year ago, he lost his father Menzi Mcunu, who was the only remaining parent he had.
The two had an on and off relationship, something that really affected the YouTube content creator and TV personality. A few months prior to Mcunu‘s passing, Lasizwe opened about about how having an absent father affected him. He revealed he had to seek professional help in order to deal with the ongoing pain. At the end of the day though, he had nothing but love for his father who passed away after a long stay in hospital. His mother, Lindiwe Dambuza died in 2016 when Lasizwe was 18 years old. She was a 40-year-old nurse at Lesedi Private Hospital.
As today marks his father’s first death anniversary, Lasizwe took to Instagram to open up about life as an orphan. He revealed that the journey of not having parents has been nothing but pain. Lasizwe added on his emotional message that his biggest wish is to hear his parents congratulate him on his achievements.
“FUCK, THIS IS PAINFUL!!! Today marks one year of your passing, One year of being an orphan and One year of constant pain of not having parents
