Check Out Bonang Matheba’s 2021 MTV Video Music Awards Look! A Hit or Miss?
Check Out Bonang Matheba’s 2021 MTV Video Music Awards Look! A Hit or Miss? When it comes to fashion, there is a thin line between nailing it and totally getting it wrong. A lot of our fashion forward celebrities have at some point made it in the worst list categories at events. We have seen the likes of Minnie Dlamini, Dineo Ranaka, Somizi, Zodwa Wabantu and so many others get dragged for the outfits they chose for certain events.
One celebrity though who always gets it right is Bonang Matheba. The celebrated media personality and entrepreneur always slays every red carpet event she attends. Recently she attended the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards and as always her outfit made waves. Bonang rocked a Dolce & Gabanna sparkling pants and top two piece. The holographic effect top goes for a whopping $1,523, which is more that R21 500. The Dolce & Gabanna high waisted motif print leggings costs close to R19 000. Bonang’s sandals go for over R10 500.
As expected Bonang took to social media to share her look for the evening. Immediately she trended with people giving different views over her choice of outfit. Some hailed Bonang as the most fashion forward celebrity they know, who never misses when it comes to major red carpet events. On the other hand though, there are those with reservations when it come to her whole look.

Bonang looked amazing to me. She looked way better than most celebrities there. That outfit was perfect for the #VMAs

Sorry but the americans ate Bonang up on that #vma red carpet. It's a great D&G look just not for award show (of that magnitude) – especially after the previous years we come from. You got to heighten everything now at this point. Cute glam though
