1. Jessica Nomalanga Shozi was born on 12th July 1994, which means she is 27 years old. She was raised in the sunny South Coast Port Shepstone in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal, with her 12 siblings.
2. Nomalanga attended Marburg Secondary School and Rosebank College, where she graduated in Public Relations.
3. She made her mark in the entertainment industry as a radio personality on Ugu Youth Radio, before moving to Gagasi Youth Station, where she co-hosted the Hip Hop Gagasi Music Session.
4. The versatile entertainer made her acting debut on Rhythm City. She was amongst the thousands of actors who auditioned online for the role of Nomalanga. Needless to say, she got the part!
6. As her portfolio grew, Nomalanga also hosted major awards events, She went to Las Vegas to cover the backstage and red carpet of the 2018 BET Soul Train Awards.
7. In November 2018 she was announced as the host of BET Breaks, which is a hit magazine programme made in, and about Africa.
