Zenande Mfenyana On The First Time She Met The Fergusons and How She Bagged The Goodness Role. The untimely passing away of Shona Ferguson has many people reflecting on the good times they have had with him. Among those people are former and current The Queen cast members who have worked closely with the talented actor, producer and TV mogul.
One person who has been sharing her grief on social media is Zenande Mfenyana. The talented actress who plays Goodness on The Queen is clearly shattered by the passing away of Ferguson. She uses Twitter to open up about the pain that she is going through. A post that got the attention of many is when Zenande spoke about her first meeting with the Fergusons, and how she eventually got to work with them.
According to Zenande, she met the power couple back in 2013 at an end of year function. As she sat on the same table as them, she made an affirmation to herself that even though they don’t know her as yet, one day she will work with them. A few years later in 2016 and the Fergusons held auditions for Igazi, and as Zenande was filling in her audition form, Mr Sho appeared and said, “We know who you are, no need to fill that in.”
Since her talent spoke for itself, Zenande did not have to audition for the role of Goodness Mabuza on The Queen. She got a call from Mr Sho, who handed her the role on a silver platter.
