Thembisa Nxumalo Empathizes With The Cast and Crew Members Of The Queen Over Their Recent Loss
Thembisa Nxumalo Empathizes With The Cast and Crew Members Of The Queen Over Their Recent Loss. It has been a little over three weeks now since the passing away of Shona Ferguson. Although everyone who was close to him is trying to be strong, it is quite clear that his death left a huge gap.
Besides his family, the cast and crew members of the shows he was working on have suffered a great deal. One can think of The Queen, which is one of the biggest shows Ferguson Films has ever created. The award winning actor and executive producer starred on the telenovela as a no nonsense police officer, Jerry Maake. He left the show, to no concentrate on working behind the scenes.
Thembisa Nxumalo, a former cast member on The Queen, also battled Covid-19 round about the time Ferguson was sick. The actress and award winning TV personality was also admitted at the same hospital, but thankfully for her, she beat the monster. Thembisa is now recovering at home and is on a six month leave.
Thembisa is among those people who took to social media to share their grief over the death of Ferguson. She recently extended her empathy to the cast and crew members of The Queen who are clearly battling to come to terms with the loss.
I can only imagine the stress the writers, cast, crew and production of #TheQueenMzansi are going through. Praying for them everyday. I’m proud of them too because with everything they’re going through, they are pulling together to make sure #TheShoGoesOn.
