The Queen Actors Pay Touching Tributes To The Late Shona Ferguson. Tributes continue to pour in for Shona Ferguson who passed always on the 30th of July 2021. The talented actor, producer and entrepreneur sadly succumbed to Covid-19 at the age of 47.
Ferguson passed away at Milpark private hospital in Johannesburg where he was admitted for a week. A lot of people concluded that he died from heart related complications. To clear the misconception Ferguson Films then released a statement in which they revealed that he died from Covid-19.
His death came as a shock to fans as well as South Africans at large. Those who look up to him have taken to social media to hail Ferguson as one of the most talented producers the country has ever had. Those who have worked closely to him on major projects have also spoken highly of Ferguson.
Although Ferguson has starred on many shows, a lot of people know him as the strict Detective Maake, from one of Ferguson Films productions, The Queen. Former and current cast members of the Mzansi Magic telenovela have also joined in the thousands of mourners to pay tribute to the man who gave them an opportunity in the industry.
