Shauwn Mkhize Celebrates Her Team’s Big Move to PSL. She is a perfect example that you can’t keep a good woman down. Shauwn Mkhize’s world came tumbling down a few months back, when she lost her case for Royal AM to be crowned the GladAfrica Championship. This loss meant that the team was not going to be promoted to the DStv Premiership.
Mkhize’s side Royal AM, were then declared as runner up, who had to battle it out at the play offs. Sadly they did not honor the play off, and by thus didn’t get promoted to the big league. Well, as she previously said, Mam’Mkhize fought with all she could for her son Andile Mpisane’s dream.
When some were laughing at her over her loss, the inspirational businesswoman was busy contemplating a big plan. Mam’Mkhize has bought Premier Division status of Bloemfontein Celtic for a whooping R50m. This means the team which was based in Bloemfontein will now change their name to Royal AM and relocate to KwaZulu-Natal.
As expected Mam’Mkhize, celebrated like the queen that she is. Her loved ones made a little something for her, as she joins the big league. We know that bigger celebrations are still coming, because Mam’Mkhize always goes all out. Congratulations to Royal AM and its fans.
On the other hand, Royal AM has been sold to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila. The team will relocate to Thohoyandou, Limpopo.
