“I Almost Died,” Rami Chuene Shares Her Experience With The Covid-19 Vaccine. A growing number of people are getting vaccinated across South Africa. This massive increase happened after the government opened up for citizens aged 35 and upwards.
Celebrities like Thula Sindi, Terry Pheto, Penny Lebyane, Florence Masebe and Kgomotso Christopher were among the first people to go get vaccinated. When the government opened up for those who work in the media, personalities such as Hulisane Ravele and Anele Mdoda, went to get the jab. So far, these celebrities and others who are not mentioned haven’t complained about the vaccine. In fact, they have taken it upon themselves to encourage others to get vaccinated.
Having noted that though, Rami Chuene has just opened up about her experience with the vaccine, and it is not a pleasant one. The talented actress says she almost died, and had all the symptoms. Rami regards the first 4 to 5 days after taking the vaccine as hell.
Although she is feeling much better now, 26 days later Rami still has some symptoms like numbness in her arm, fatigue, headache, etc. She however does not discouraging anyone against getting vaccinated and stated that she would have died, if she had gotten Covid-19. Rami is looking forward for her second vaccine, which she hopes will be drama free.
“Long story short: I almost died. I had ALL the symptoms, losing my mind, calling @dr_lovelee at 1am. But all’s well, looking forward to a drama-free 2nd jab,” Rami said.
