Yaya Mavundla Asks To Be Distanced From Controversial Content MacG Shares On His Podcast. Earlier this year Podcast & Chill aired an episode which had many talking. During the show a few remarks were made by MacG, Sol Phenduka and The Ghost lady which came off as very homophobic, transphobic, and very distasteful.

Because of this particular episode, Podcast & Chill was dragged on social media, and they lost major sponsors like Old Mutual. A statement was later released where the team extended their apologies to the LGBTQI+ community, their fans as well as their clients and business partners. They also invited transgender activist Yaya Mavundla in their next episode as a way to learn more about the LGBTQI+ community. They also wanted to educate others who may have not seen any offense from their actions.

Some members of the LGBTQI+ community, were not happy though with Yaya being a guest on the show. It looks like her decision to be interviewed on Podcast & Chill will forever be held against her. Every time when MacG shares something that some people find out of line, they somewhat want to involve Yaya. She has thus taken a stand to ask those people to stop sending her things when MacG says controversial content.

“Guys, I really think it is time people STOP sending me things when MacG says something out of line. Yes I went to his platform to speak about MY experiences with the hope they do better. I’m NOT responsible for whatever he does with his life. I’m also NOT interested, I’m busy,” Yaya said.
