Just a few hours ago the nation received the sad news that Lesego ‘Les Da Chef Semenya has passed away. The chef, TV host and author passed away a few days after he announced that he contracted Covid-19.
When fans were still shocked by this untimely news, another death announcement was made. Skeem Saam is mourning yet another member of their talented cast, Nokuzola Mlengana. The 58 year old actress played the no nonsense Sis Ouma on the SABC1 hit show. The circumstances surrounding her death have not yet been shared with the public.
Skeem Saam has lost a number of talented actors over the years. Among them is Karabo Mokhubela, who played DJ Jazzy-T on the show. He passed away in 2020. Charles Maja, afavorite among viewers who played Big Boy Mabitsela also passed away in 2020. Mahuma Paul Rapetsoa, who played Malome Josias, passed away in December 2020. Thema Mokoena, who played Ramolao (Sis Ouma’s husband) passed away in June 2019.
