SA Celebs React To The Events Taking Place In Phoenix #PhoenixMassacre
SA Celebs React To The Events Taking Place In Phoenix. Social media is filled with disturbing images and videos of Black people being attacked by the Indian community. According to some reports, a number of people were gunned down, allegedly by Phoenix residents who refused to leave matters in the hands of the police.
All of these started when a group of people protested against the jailing of former President Jacob Zuma a week ago. The protests the escalated to riots and looting incidents that have been going on over the past couple of days. Kwazulu Natal and Gauteng provinces have been hit the most by the criminal acts. It looks like residents in Phoenix decided to take law into their hands, thus beating and killing Blacks in their neighborhood.
Social media users are not happy that the mainstream media is slow to give the Phoenix events a much needed coverage. They also bash celebrities for not using their voices to address, what has been dubbed as the Phoenix Massacre. However there are some celebs and prominent public figures like EFF leader Julius Malema, Naledi Chirwa, Ntsiki Mazwai, Amanda Black, DJ Sbu and so many others who shared their opinions over the issue.
