Nhlanhla Lux Hailed A Hero After Protecting Maponya Mall From Looters. Not all heroes wear capes. One of them is Nhlanhla Lux whose heroic acts will ever go unnoticed. The Soweto resident did all he could to protect his community against looters. Lux have barely had any sleep in the past few days knowing that looters are lingering in wait for any available chance to pounce on Maponya Mall in Klipspruit.
Lux and other community members constantly had to chase away those intending to loot in the night. They remained on guard on for days as a lot of chancers wanted to try their luck at the mall. Lux used his social media platforms to also urge other Soweto residents to come in numbers to protect the township economy as well as their future.
Lux was praised all over social media for doing such a great job. The likes of former Gauteng Mayor Herman Mashaba, entertainment blogger Phil Mphela, actress Candice Modiselle applauded him for such a great job well done.
