Mmatema Gavu Introduces New Acting Role. A lot of former Idols SA are making a name for themselves in the entertainment industry. The likes of Khaya Mthethwa, Amanda Black, Shekhinah, Musa Sukwene and The Qwabe Twins are some of the former SA Idols who launched successful careers.
One former contestant who is also making waves years after she took part in Idols SA competition is Mmatema Gavu. The 2015 Idols SA runner-up cemented her place when she bagged the hosting gig of a brand new TV show called Gospel Unplugged back in July 2018. Ever since then, the talented Mmatema has bee doing the most as a singer, actress, media personality and YouTube content creator.
Mmatema has bee killing her role as the ambitious social climber, Valentine on Rhythm City. Now that the e.tv soapie is coming to an end, she has moved on to another role. Mmatema took to Instagram to announce that she is part of a new production that will be airing on Showmax.
“New acting role coming soon to Showmax ?. Glory to Jesus, glory to God, glory to my faithful Father,” Mmatema announced.
