Levels! Siya Xaba’s Film Now On Showmax. His departure from Gomora left so many people sad. Little did they know that Siya Xaba was focusing on to bigger and better things. The talented actor and producer released his film in April this year and the future looks bright.

Xaba wrote, produced, and directed a film called Carrots which is now on Showmax. The film stars two of his former co-stars from Gomora, namely Siphesihle Ndaba (who plays Mazet) and Ama Qamata who plays his sister Buhle. Ndaba plays the role of Faye in Carrots while Qamata plays the role of Emily. Talented actor Lemogang Tsipa can also be seen in action in Carrots as the character Tony.

This is not his first project as a producer. Xaba has also produced and starred in a short film, titled The Influencer, which was released in 2019. The Influencer was about a “secret” agent-like figure who is addicted to Instagram.

Most people got to kow Xaba from Gomora, as this cheese boy from Sandton who had a great command of the Queen’s Language. Langa had just moved into his grandmother’s house in Alexandra with his mother, Thathi ( Katlego Danke) and little sister Buhle. This was after a dreadful hijacking incident that left them fatherless, broke and homeless. He formed such a great brotherhood with Teddy (Sicelo Buthelezi) and Ntokozo(Ntobelo Sishii).

Langa sadly died tragically as a victim of arson. His father’s wife Gladys (Thembi Seete) set Langa’s family house on fire, and he was caught in the crossfire. The talented actor and producer left viewers saddened by his departure from the series which is now on it’s 2nd season.
