Keke Mphuthi Returns To The Small Screen With A New Role. Many of her fans, were eager to see her in action when Unmarried returned for season II. Unfortunately, Keke Mphuthi’s character was killed off. A new addition to the Mzansi Magic series, Lunathi Mpofu increased the number of leading ladies.
Unmarried is produced by the Fergusons who had a fall out with Mphuthi a few years ago. Sharing her own story, the talented actress says she lost her job because she had gotten pregnant. Mphuthi also added that she almost lost her unborn child at the time because of the stress. She also claimed the Fergusons tried to blacklist her. As such Mphuthi was left with no job as an actress for two years.
Well, her fate has changed now, and she is back to doing what she loves the most. Although Mphuthi has not revealed the production she is working on, she gushed over being cast alongside veteran actors. Some of those are Lindani Nkosi, Mtshali Jones and Gcina Mkhize
