One celebrity who is quite vocal abut current affairs is Ayanda Thabethe. The TV personality and model took to Twitter to share how difficult it is for public figures to air their views. Reason being that their opinions are often dismissed by the masses. Although she is sad about the violence going on, Ayanda has chosen to not publicly share her views, more so when the topic doesn’t help her career.

“As a public figure you really don’t win when you discuss your views on politics. Since the topic doesn’t help my career, I’ve chosen to only share my views privately on any politically charged topic. But I’m definitely sad with everything going on rn, Ayanda said.

Instead of concentrating on the point Ayanda was driving across, one tweep mocked her for saying she is a public figure.
