Touching Tributes Pour In For Actor Luzuko Nteleko. The industry has just been hit by another blow. South Africa woke up to the devastating news that Luzuko Nteleko has passed away. Although it has not yet been confirmed what took his life, the talented actor was battling brain cancer over the past years
36 year old Ntekelo was diagnosed with stage 4 rare brain cancer. The doctors gave up the possibility of him waking up from a coma after spending 7 weeks in ICU. He however managed to beat the chronic disease, and was back to good health. Sadly Ntekelo has lost his life in the early hours of Tuesday 22 June, 2021.
Nteleko was best known for his television roles as Loyiso on Zone 14 and as Student Constable Lebogang Chuene on Streets of Mangaung, in 2012. In 2014 he had a starring role in the Mzansi Magic miniseries 4 Hours, playing a man who has four hours to save his family after they were kidnapped and buried alive by a gangster. He regarded this as one of the best roles he had to play. In the same year Nteleko had a guest starring role in the SABC1 sitcom Single Galz.
Nteleko has also been on major shows such as SABC2 drama Muvhango, Ring of Lies, City Ses’la, Isidingo, Mfolozi Street, among so many others. After his sudden death was announced by his sister Nomsa Nteleko, condolence messages poured in. Most of those who worked closely with him, spoke about his humility among other great qualities.
