Many came to know Thami as Senzo Zondo a role he played on SABC1 soapie Generations, between 2008 and 2009. Life is certainly going well for hims, and his acting career is also progressing. In November 2020, Thami scored himself a role on BET drama series, Isono. He plays Maradona, a troubled orphan who once lived at the House of Grace before joining Gabriel’s gang. This has been Thami’s major role, as he made a return to the screen.

Thami has also found love, and is not shy to gush over his partner. One social media user, took to Twitter to ask men the one thing that their partners do, that they find so cute. Thami joined in to reveal just how smitten his lover is about him.

A fellow actor and also a friend, Matli Mohapeloa, provided shelter for him in Johannesburg. They now co-parent their kids without animosity towards each other
