On the 15th of June, President Cyril Ramaphosa, announced that the country was moving to level 3 lockdown alert. This of course came with stricter regulations, looking at the fact that some provinces have entered the 3rd wave of infections. It goes without saying that the situation is quite bad. More and more celebrities are sharing their journey with Covid-19, among them media personalities, Robert Marawa and Mark Pilgrim.
One celebrity who has been affected by the disease is Sello Maake KaNcube. The award winning veteran actor lost his brother Quinton Matlhodi Maake to Covid-19 a few days ago. Maake KaNcube revealed that he is battling to come to terms with the loss. He also urged the public to adhere to the regulations as Covid-19 is not a myth, but a reality.
We covey our heartfelt condolences to the Maake family during this trying time.
“Sleep well my little brother, till we meet again Quinton! I’m still trying to come to terms of the news of your sudden passing! #Covid19 is not a myth! Keep safe and obey the regulations, they not guaranteed to save us but we stand a better chance at defeating this virus,” Maake KaNcube said.
