“Selling Weaves Is No Different To Selling Drugs,” Ntsiki Mazwai
“Selling Weaves Is No Different To Selling Drugs,” Ntsiki Mazwai. Could she be taking a swipe at DJ Zinhle? On Tuesday, Zinhle ushered in June with the launch of her own premium Peruvian wigs range, Hair Majesty. The multi award winning DJ, and successful entrepreneur received a lot of congratulatory messages from here peers, fans and the general public. She was also regarded an inspiration by many who look up to her.
But it looks like not everyone is impressed with her hustle. Ntsiki Mazwai, who never shies away from voicing out her opinion, has taken to Twitter to address black people who sell weaves. Over the years, the artist, poet and musician has always expressed how much she hates wigs and weaves. She always dismissed them as less smarter. On another rage, Ntsiki took to Twitter to vehemently crush those people who sell weaves. She likened them to those who sell drugs, because according to her, weaves are an addiction.
“Selling weaves is no different to selling drugs. We are dealing with an addiction,” she said.
Immediately tweeps assumed that Ntsiki was referring to Zinhle, more so since she also crushed those celebrities who sell alcohol. As much as they tried to defend their fave’s hustle, Ntsiki was adamant that Zinhle is promoting self hate through her business venture. It looks like the she is not about to let the weave debate slide anytime soon.
