J Something Announces The Return of My Kitchen Rules. The M-Net reality cooking show is back with a bang. Come September, viewers will get to see home chefs battle it out on My Kitchen Rules, which is back for season III. If you are among those people who worked on their culinary skills during lockdown, this is your chance to show off.

This season will see teams of avid home cooks go head to head in a bid to impress their fellow competitors and celebrity judges, J Something and David Higgs. The winner will walk away with the R1 million grand prize. The Micasa lead singer and food fanatic took to social media to share the great news as well as invite those who want to be part of the show to enter.

“I can’t believe I’m tweeting this but … MY KITCHEN RULES IS BACK! Who will be crowned the ultimate home cooks in season 3,” J Something announced.

M-Net is looking for authentic South Africans in teams of two, who have a great connection, are foodies at heart and ready to bring their personal style and flavour to the My Kitchen Rules SA table. Entries opened on, 1 June 2021 and will close at 12pm on 30 June 2021. Both team members must be 18 years old or older on 1 August 2021.
