Candice Modiselle Comes Through For A Cystic Fibrosis Patient In Need of A Lung Transplant
Candice Modiselle Comes Through For A Cystic Fibrosis Patient In Need of A Lung Transplant. “Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.” – Dalai Lama. Humanity doesn’t have to end only with quotes, we all have to do our part to show compassion where we can. One person who always go all out to assist others is, Candice Modiselle.
Although there are scammers masquerading as desperate people seeking assistance, just like Candice, we should not let those dampen our spirit of giving. Back in October 2020, the media personality and actress shared a story of how she almost got scammed after assisting a family in need with some money for electricity and groceries. After assisting them, one family member then went on to try and exploit Candice saying they are behind on rent and need more money.
That’s all in the past, and Candice is still determined to help where she can. One social media user recently took to Twitter to share her ordeal. 26 years old Nompilo has Cystic Fibrosis, and she is at the End Stage of CF. Nompilo’s lungs are shutting down, and she is in desperate need of a transplant. As, Nompilo is from Swaziland, she can’t get a lung transplant here in South Africa, and India is her only hope.
Nompilo is currently hospitalized at Brenthurst Hospital, and a few days ago, she asked anyone coming to visit her, to brig her a pack of pads. Candice, stepped in and sent Nompilo her contacts.
Candice made it a point that she checked on Nompilo. She brought flowers, that definitely brightened Nompilo’s mood. We applaude Candice for stepping in to help someone in need despite their citizenship. We also wish Nompilo, nothing but good health as she battles her disease.
“You guys she came and got me flowers too and she’s so sociable basically loud just like me. I’m so blessed, thank you for the continuous support, I always tell people I’m a Twitter’s child because you all mother me so well. I’m so grateful @CandieModiselle Thank you,” Nompilo said in appreciation.
