“To 18 Years In The Industry,” Enhle Mbali Celebrates Her Latest Magazine Cover. She has been in the entertainment industry for the most part of her life. But this is hard to believe because Enhle Mbali still has the same face we first saw 18 years ago. Talk about great genes!

To celebrate her longevity as an entertainer, Enhle is the cover girl of True Love magazine June/July 2021 issue. A lot of people came to know her in 2006 when she landed her first acting role on SABC hit series Mtunzini.com. Her breakthrough role however was on another series, Tshisa. Ever since then, the talented actress, TV personality and entrepreneur has bagged a number of acting gigs on local soapies and drama series. Some of which include iNkaba, Moferefere Lenyalong, Soul City, Sokhulu and Partners, Rhythm City, Rockville, and 7de Laan to mention just a few.

In 2018, Enhle was cast as the lead actress for the short film Lace. The film won Best Film, Audience Favorite, Best Actor, Best Writing, Best Directing, and Best Special Effects for the 48 Hour Film Project in Johannesburg. The film went on to compete at Filmapalooza 2019 in Orlando, Florida earning her an international Best Actress Award. In 2019, Enhle was cast as supporting lead for the series The Herd.

For her TV work, Enhle hosted the Channel O series, Young, Gifted and Black in 2009. She also went on to host ANN7’s, Starbiz which focused on local and international entertainment news. She was a speaker at the Dstv In Good Company Experience which hosted American actress and writer Issa Rae in 2018.

Enhle is also a fashion designer of note, having launched her maternity wear range SE Preggoz in South Africa and New York in 2015. In 2020, her fashion line, Essie Apparel was awarded Best Designer Collection at the weekend by Fashion Community Week in San Francisco, US.

Many of our local celebrities enjoy doing philanthropy work to give back to the less privileged. In 2018, Enhle launched the Enhle Cares Foundation at the inaugural Forever Young Gala Dinner alongside The House of Mandela Family Foundation and Africa Rising, supported by Global Citizen. The foundation is a multi-faceted organization targeting girls and young women in disadvantaged communities.

As the latest True Love cover girl, Enhle speaks about her family, children, letting go as well as what the past 10 years have taught her.
