A few weeks ago, the award winning actress took to Instagram to update her fans and followers on the passing away of Professor Caesar Maxwell Ndlovu. After making the announcement, Dawn, started sharing the most beautiful memories they have had with their father on social media. The funeral has since passed, but she is still battling to come to terms with her loss.
“There truly is no manual that prepares for the loss of a parent…. One day at a time…. Till we meet again Prof,” she said.
Family has always been a priority for Dawn, hence the death of Professor Ndlovu is not easy to get over. In October 2020, her loving family surprised her with a beautiful ceremony to celebrate the success that she is. Dawn couldn’t hold herself, but broke down in tears of joy from all the love she got that day.
The talented actress recently bid farewell to SABC1 drama Uzalo, and has joined the cast of Diep City. The Mzansi Magic series is the brain child of the award-winning creator and director of popular drama Lockdown, Mandla N. She plays the character Thandiwe, a very strict mother. Dawn is also part of the cast on the new Netflix movie Slay, which stars the likes of Enhle Mbali and Amanda duPont.
