Kgomotso Ndungane Has A Message For Everyone Hating On Nonku Williams
Kgomotso Ndungane Has A Message For Everyone Hating On Nonku Williams. A lot of people have dubbed her the villain of Real Housewives of Durban. Well this is simply because Kgomotso Ndungane has been the most outspoken one on the reality show. Among other things, the businesswoman and wife of former Springbok player Odwa Ndungane has spoken against tribalism, and has also questioned the hosting skills of some of the ladies straight to their faces.
Known for never mincing her words, Kgomotso has jumped into another controversial issue. Over the past couple of days, social media has been dragging Nonku Williams. On the first episode of the Real Housewives of Durban, Nonku dropped a bombshell revealing that she has a child with Sfiso Ncwane, who is the late husband of another housewife, Ayanda. The founder of Ashes to Beauty Winery, who isn’t a fan-favorite at the moment has detested Ayanda since the beginning of the show.
The stunt that she pulled at the Real Housewives of Durban reunion has also earned her even more haters. With the support of her mother, Nonku stated that her dad, Mr Williams wanted Ayanda to pay damages for the daughter that she had with Sfiso, Nothile. The attack left Ayanda so emotional, that she stomped out, followed by her supportive brother Phupho. A lot of people came for Nonku on social media, such that she had to close the comment section on her Instagram. But hey, not everyone is against Nonku. One such is Kgomotso, who took to Instagram to address those bashing Nonku.
“Here goes: A lot of people have come on different platforms and said the most horrendous things about Nonku and her family. You know what, good people, #rhodurban is just a show and let us not condemn people like this. To use social platforms and have such hateful opinions that do not get debated to move the ball forward is absolutely soul shattering especially when you don’t even know the people!
I’ve had moments where I was so hated that I even thought God had forsaken me. And it’s not a joke. We are real people, with real emotions, with children and to spew such hate on social media, is not going to make the world any better. So think very deeply before you write such hateful things, Kgomotso said.
Kgomotso who was not part of the reunion has also made it clear that she is not coming back for season II of the show, should there be one.
“My objective was to do one season, move on and do other things. For me, the most important thing was the platform. If you have any sort of recognition or platform where people can look into your life, it is actually your duty to influence that platform positively….I was never going to be on season two and everyone was leaving doing other things,” Kgomotso said.
