Kelly Khumalo Celebrates Her SAFTA Win. The event that many have been waiting for has finally arrived. The South Africa Film and Television Awards have already kick started with their first event. This evening, (Friday 21st) the Craft Awards are streamed live on the SAFTAs YouTube channel, hosted by Tracey Lange and Lesego Tlhabi.
Already a couple of winners have been announced, and it is all joy for the winners on social media. Among those who walked away with awards is Kelly Khumalo. Her reality show, Life With Kelly Khumalo has just won the Best Structured Soapie Reality Show award at the SAFTAs. The much loved show, is back for yet another season on Showmax. Lofe With Kelly Khumalo was up against Lebo M: Coming Home and Somizi & Mohale : The Union both of which also aired on Showmax.

Some of the other winners include Noko Mashaba who won a SAFTA for Best Online Content. Cooking show, Celebrity Mystery Box bagged an award for Best Competition Reality show. The much loved Netflix series, Blood and Water won the Best Achievement in Cinematography for a TV Drama award. Loving Thokoza which stars Enhle Mbali got the Best made-for-TV Movie award. M-net teleovela, Legacy won the Best Achievement in Art Direction for a TV Soap/Telenovela award.
The main event will be broadcast, tomorrow (22nd May 2021) at 19:00 on DStv Channel 161. Dineo Langa, Mpho Popps and Graeme Richards who have been unveiled as hosts of the night. The virtual red carpet will be hosted by none other than media personalities, Lerato Kganyago and Lasizwe.
