“Votes Were Handled Externally”- SABC Rubbishes Claims That The Metro FM Awards Were Hacked

So SABC has been trending and it has been reported that the Metro FM’s website was allegedly hacked. The SABC was quick to rubbish these claims. The ‘hacked account’ apparently showed the list of winners for various categories at the awards, it also revealed the “real” list of the artists that were supposed to win on that night

The spokesperson of the SABC, Kaizer Kganyago said that these reports are not real and they are absolutely false. “The SABC was not hacked. But even if they managed to hack into our systems they would come up empty where the Metro FM winners are concerned because they were handled externally” said Kaizer

He went on to add that people should always bare in mind that they cant measure fame n Twitter and equate it to the number of SMSs people sent in to vote for their favorite artist. So it means that these claims were made. But the truth shall be unveiled sooner or later. Just saying!
