MacG’s Podcast And Chill Sets The Bar Up High

MacG’s Podcast And Chill Sets The Bar Up High. It’s true what they say that no publicity is bad publicity. Without a doubt MacG is one of those people who can attest to this saying. Although the cancel culture almost cost him is career, a few months ago, MacG seems to do even much better than before. The former radio host, is now cementing his position as one of the best podcasters in South Africa and beyond.

The journey hasn’t always been rosy for MacG though, who is a highly opinionated media personality. Just this year alone, he got himself in a sticky situation over his recent podcast. Macgyver โ€œMacGโ€ Mukwevho and co-host Sol Phenduka were chatting about transgender women in one of their most controversial episodes where words like she-male and women with a dick flew around. The LGBTQ+ community were clearly not impressed and asked for the YouTube channel to be shut down and for MacG to be cancelled.

The podcast then lost some of their sponsors which include, Old Mutual. The organization released a statement in which they revealed that Macg’s sponsorship has been terminated with immediate effect. Gaming Sport Group which was responsible for licensing his content also pulled off their sponsorship as well as Studio 88 as MacG continued to offend more people. Despite all of this, Podcast and Chill continued to soar, bagging memorable interviews and also gaining more subscribers.

MacG is also famous for never being shy to put it out there on the next personality he wants to interview. In most cases it works out because these celebs end up on Podcast and Chill. He is now about to make history with his much anticipated Zola 7 interview. MacG has been trying to get the veteran actor, TV personality and musician on the podcast, and he has finally succeeded. A few weeks ago, he interviewed award winning musician and actor Big Zulu who gave him the heads up on what kind of a man is Zola 7 is and what to ask or expect when interviewing him.

Guess what! The interview will be premiered at Ster-Kinekor, and the chillers can’t deal! The iconic interview has been billed for the 29th April 2021. Talk about a whole movie!
