Shona Ferguson On Who Really Owns The Queen

Shona Ferguson On Who Really Owns The Queen. We learn everyday, don’t we? We all know that Shona Ferguson is one of the leading producers in the country. He, along with wife Connie Ferguson, established Ferguson Films and both starred on their film production’s first series Rockville which is now on season 5. He starred as JB from 2013 to date.

Uncle Sho, as many affectionately call him has also starred on other Ferguson Films productions like, The Gift, The Wild Films series, The Queen as well as Kings of Joburg. Other Ferguson Films that the couple worked on include, Igazi, The Throne, The Herd and The Imposter. Although we are used to seeing the couple playing leads in the shows that they produce, Shona recently left The Queen to work behind-the-scenes. The award winning actor and executive producer played the no nonsense cop, Jerry Maake.

But just like many show, it looks like Maake has rise from the dead. The last episode of The Queen saw him appearing in Vuyiswa’s dream, and we can’t wait to see how things will unfold with Jerry Back on The Queen. One social media user translated Maake’s comeback as Shona’s way to remind viewers that he still owns the hit Mzansi magic telenovela. To the shock of many, Shona responded by saying he doesn’t own The Queen, and claimed that the show is owned by Mzansi Magic and Multi Choice. Could this be true, or Uncle Sho, is just being modest!
