Norma Mngoma On The Dreams She Has For Her Children. The relationship that a mother has with her children involves more than just love. Any parent out there just want to see their children become the best they can be. Because of that, parents always have high expectations for their children as they grow to become independent adults. Having noted, that can only be achieved when parents play a bigger role as mentors of their children. That is why the likes of Norma Mngoma are so involved as parents.
Over the past couple of months, Norma has been going through the most. Amidst it all she still remained the best parent she could ever be to her two sons. Among other things Norma was accused of damaging a G Wagon after suspecting that the former Minister of Home Affairs and her husband Malusi Gigaba of cheating. She was also accused of plotting to kill Gigaba. Because of all these accusations, Norma was arrested, and spend a few months in and out of court.
Her sons sadly witnessed their mother’s arrest, resulting in their nine year old and seven year old sons struggling to focus at school. The good thing is that all the charges against Norma have been dropped, and hopefully the boys will start to cope. She took to Instagram to share some of the lessons, she teaches his sons, as well as all the dreams she has for them. Among other things, Norma wants her boys to respect women and remain humble, regardless of what they achieve in life.
“Crushing on my boys today, my heart beat ❤️❤️. I teach them to pray every day , love and care for another. What they know mommy is their queen and shoulder to cry on. I teach them to express themselves how they feel about certain things. I want them to learn to love so genuinely, express themselves and respect other people’s feelings. I want them to become gentlemen who love themselves, God fearing and respect women and remain humble no matter what they achieve in my life. Seeing them happy makes me happy too. They are my first priority will forever choose them over everything ❤️❤️✊?✊?,” Norma said
A week ago, Norma made news after she withdrew from testifying at the state capture inquiry. She told the inquiry she was not pleased with how it had handled her matter, after initially agreeing to testify a few months back. Norma was set to testify regarding her previous allegations against her estranged husband, which supported his former bodyguard’s testimony that Gigaba received money from the Gupta family.
Chairperson Raymond Zondo expressed disappointment about the development and agreed she should be summoned, and thus authorized that the same be issued against her. He said it was disappointing that Norma took the decision to withdraw at the 11th hour.
