Celebs Share Their Views After A Limpopo Pupil Commits Suicide Allegedly Because She Was Bullied. One of the biggest problems we have in this country is bullying. Be it at school, at work, at home or even on the internet, always dragging a person can have dire consequences. No one is immune to haters, who are always ready to launch their attack. Even some of our celebrities like the late hip hop star HHP, Bonang Matheba, Thick Leeyonce and Khanyi Mbau have experienced bullying one way or another.
Bullying happens mostly in schools, where other students can pick on another learner and make their life unbearable. At the moment there is a video going viral on social media where a grade 10 Mbilwi Secondary School student was seen beaten by another pupil, while other schoolgirls cheered on. During the harrowing scene shown in two videos, 15 year old Lufuno Mavhungu can be seen trying to shield herself. Not once does she fight back. As a result, Lufuno thereafter allegedly locked herself up in the room and overdosed on prescription pills on Monday and sadly passed away.
Many people are enraged over the incident, and want nothing but justice for Lufuno. They also want the perpetrators to be dealt with accordingly so as to set an example to others that bullying is as bad as committing murder. Celebrities like Prince Kaybee, Phathu Makwarela, Kgomotso Christopher, Hulisani Ravele, also joined in to condemn the unfortunate incident.
