Pics! Pearl Thusi Remembers Her Father A Year After His Passing. Losing a parent is one of the most difficult thing to experience. Sadly in the case of Pearl Thusi, she lost both of her parents. A month ago she took to social media to open up about the pain of losing her father. The talented actress and media personality shared a throwback video of herself ad her father on her Instagram page, sharing a special moment and they looked happy whilst giggling.
Today marks the death anniversary of her father, Bhekizizwe Thusi. Pearl who also lost her mother over 17 years ago, has take this day to remember the amazing man that her father was. From the pictures, one can tell that Pearl was a daddy’s girl. From epic birthday celebrations to happy family photo shoot, it goes without saying that the two shared beautiful memories. Pearl hopes that one day, she will be able to honor the late Thusi as well as create a legacy that will make his name and memory live on.

Meanwhile Pearl is trending on Twitter after sharing pictures and a video of herself saddened by the resignation of Noxolo Grootboom from the SABC. The pictures show Pearl kneel before Mam’ Grootboom hailing her as a queen and hero. She thanked Mam’ Grootboom for all the contribution she has made, which includes promoting the Xhosa languages as well as representing women. On the video that she shared on her Insta stories, Pearl is crying Tweeps on the other hand feel that this is just an act, and that Pearl is seeking for attention.
