Levels! Vele Manenje Bags 3 New Roles. Talk about a being on another level! When most actors are struggling to get at least one show, Vele Manenje is here with a whole three shows on three different TV channels! She will be on Mzansi Magic, SABC1 as well as kykNET.
On Mzansi Magic, the SAFTA award winning actress and TV host, will star on the new telenovela, DiepCity Mzansi. Vele will play, Maureen, who she regards as, “the 1st lady of ekasi lase Diepsloot.” DiepCity which premieres on 5 April at 20:30pm is produced by Black Brain SA, which is owned by the phenomenal Mandla N.
She has also bagged another role where she will play Princess, a very dedicated,no nonsense Xhosa woman who is head of security at the airport. The show will be on Gil every Monday as of 5 April on kykNET at 8PM ,produced by Penguin Films, “I am so grateful to be able to bring her to life,” Vele said.
Vele is also the newest cast member on SABC1 sopie, Skeem Saam. She has been cast to play show Evelyn, a former schoolteacher, who seems strange at first and makes a sudden delivery at Charles’ shop. Vele will make her debut on April 27th. We cannot wait to see the kind of drama she will bring to the much loved Skeem Saam.
