“From Eldorado Park To The World,” Liesl Laurie Celebrates Her 6 Years Miss SA Crowniversary. It is definitely every girl who enters any beauty pageant’s dream to be crowed the Queen. But the feeling of being crowned Miss South Africa must be out of this world. Hence why Liesl Laurie, looks back at this day as one of the biggest blessings of her life.
Having won the Miss Soweto 2010, Second Princess Miss Personality and Miss Mamelodi Sundowns 2014, Liesl has always had a thing for beauty pageants. 2015,came with the biggest crown in the country for Liesl. Asked why she wanted to be the new Miss SA and what she would bring to the role, Liesl said this has been a dream since she was young and has always wanted to take part in the competition. And just like that her dream became a reality. The beauty queen, model and radio presenter was crowned Miss SA 2015 at the Sun City Superbowl. The first runner-up was Refilwe Mthimunye and the second runner-up was Ntsiki Mkhize. She has represented South Africa at the Miss World 2015, in Sanya, China on December 19, 2015.
She is still much involved in Miss South Africa, and has been among the panel of judges on numerous occasions. Six years later, Liesl is still as excited as the day she was crowned. She recently took to Instagram to celebrate this beautiful memory with a cool video captioned with a heartfelt message.
