Zizo Tshwete Remembers Her Late Friend Akhumzi In A Touching Post. The loss of a loved one is something that we can never get used to. Every sweet memory and special day reminds us that we will never get to see our beloved again. One person whose untimely death affected a lot of people across the country, is Akhumzi Jezile.
In 2018, the celebrated media personality and actor, lost his life in a car crash in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. Since Akhumzi’s passing, every now and then his closest friends take to social media to share the beautiful memories they have had with him. The latest one to pay tribute to Akhumzi is Zizo Tshwete. The former Miss SA Teen and media personality, opened up about the relationship that they shared, and what she misses about her friend.
“This guy just always GOT ME.
Our Friendship was instant. He loved and accepted me. We laughed so hard together – at the dumbest things. We plotted hard together – the paths our careers would take. We Loved hard together – if you’ve ever been Loved by Akhumzi than you can truly say you have known real joy in your life,” Zizo said.
She went on to say that losing Akhumzi still hurts her to the core of her soul. Zizo also expressed her sadness over the fact that her so VK, will never get to know the kind of person that Akhumzi was.
“I have lost many important people in my life – we all have I’m sure – losing him still hurts me to the core of my soul.
Today, I miss him more than words can ever say. I hate that VK will never know him,” she said.
