Siphiwe Mtshali Comes Back To TV With A New Role. Many people will remember him for his role as Bash on Rhythm City. Siphiwe Mtshali was with the e.tv soapie for 10 years, until his character was killed by another thug, Khulekani. It was the end of the road for him on Rhythm City, but definitely not the end of him as an actor.
In March 2020, we got to see Mtshali do his thing on Showmax film, UHAMBO. He starred alongside talented stars like Enhle Mbali, Galaletsang Koffman as Shonisani Masutha on the film. UHAMBO followed the journey of a cheating taxi driver Vusi who’s life changed forever after having an affair with a policeman’s wife.
His fans will be happy to know that, Mtshali has bagged himself a new role on a popular show. The actor and media personality is the latest cast member to join BET Africa’s weeknight drama series, Isono. He joins the likes of Rami Chuene, Bohang Moeko, Nthati Moshesh, Natasha Thahane, Mpho Sibeko and TK Sebothoma, who started with the telenovela in 2020. Mtshali has been cast to play the character of Bones, who is coming with drama of his own, on the already hot telenovela. He will make his anticipated debut on Monday, 22 February 2021.
“Bones is about to take the drama to whole new level!!” Bones is expected to cause an obstruction in Gabriel’s mission to free Abednego from prison,” BET Africa TV channel broke the news.
Mtshali is most recognized for hosting the SABC1 dance show, Jam Alley. Together with the late V-Mash, they took the iconic variety show to greater heights. He is also and for his roles as Zamani Khoza on Generations and as DJ on Tsha Tsha. Mtshali has also featured in a number of other local productions. We cannot wait to see him play the Bones character.
