Sello Maake KaNcube Reveals The Exciting Project He Is Currently Working On. By the look of things, 2021, is going to be a year filled with a lot of new projects from our arts and entertainment industry. An industry giant, Sello Maake KaNcube has just revealed he is currently working on a very exciting play. This play will be about the life of phenomenal woman, Palesa Brown.
Palesa is one woman who has gone through a lot of pain in her life. After her fiancé died unexpectedly, she got in a battle with her would-be in-laws for his possessions. She also survived an abusive marriage, a stroke that threatened her life and the life-changing ordeal of rape. Through the play, Palesa Brown will take us on her journey of life, love and victory.
Sello Maake KaNcube and his team are working with their mutual PR and Brand advisor Pearl Mbewe on this project. Now this is one play we can’t wait to see!
The multi award-winning veteran actor is also an activist against gender based violence. Maake Ka-Ncube is the spokesperson for anti-GBV movement Mzansi Act Now. He also once led a men’s march from Nasrec to the Union Buildings. Through his work with Mzansi Act Now, Maake Ka-Ncube wants to encourage men to speak openly about such issues. He himself has opened owned to his abusive ways.
