Mpho Letsholonyane Bids Farewell To POWER FM
Mpho Letsholonyane Bids Farewell To POWER FM. It is that time of the year for POWER 98.7 to introduce new line-up. The radio station has just announced their adjusted line-up, which will be effective as of the 7th of March 2021. The 2021 line up is anchored around the growth of its current talent, the growing and changing needs of its audience and its commercial aspirations.
As much as this brings excitement for new hosts, sadly we have to bid farewell, to some of our favorite radio personalities. One of those who are leaving is the much loved, Mpho Letsholonyane. The sports broadcaster joined the station on 02 March 2020, holding it down on the midweek show, Power Lunch. On the show, Mpho gave listeners an overview of what is happening around the world. The coming week will be her last at the station, and the new line up will take over from the 7th of March.
Although it is sad that she is leaving the station, Mpho took to social media to appreciate having been given the opportunity.
“Don’t be sad because it’s over. Smile because it happened”
In case you missed it. Next week is our last week together on #PowerLunch. What a beautiful journey it has been. Loved every single moment working with AMAZING talent… ♥️??. The new @powerfm987 lineup kicks off on 7 March, Mpho said.
Power Lunch, will now be in the capable hands of another talented female broadcaster, Faith Mangope. The versatile Faith has been responsible for Power Breakfast Host, another show on POWER FM. Faith without a doubt holds her own when it comes broadcasting. She is massively talented and holds vast experience. Many know her as an ENCA Anchor, a Massiv Metro radio host as well as the anchor, insert producer, and field reporter at E.TV’s breakfast show called Sunrise.
