Lerato Kganyago On A Mission To Eradicate Period Poverty #EndPeriodPoverty
Lerato Kganyago On A Mission To Eradicate Period Poverty. Talk about commendable consistency! Ever since launching her sanitary pads brand, Lerato Kganyago, has been coming through for the needy. In 2020, the first batch of Flutter By LKG sanitary pads was given to young women in all remote areas across the country. Lerato still continues with her mission to see women in South Africa get the dignity they deserve when they are having their periods.
Lerato recently shared that she has sadly heard so many horrific stories of young women using, leaves, mud, plastic bags, potato peels, because they can’t afford sanitary pads. Although self funded, the award wining media personality and businesswoman is not stopping on this journey to help women who can’t afford sanitary pads anytime soon. From the beginning of Lockdown last year, Lerato managed to donate thousands of sanitary pads throughout the country.
What better way to reach the masses than engage well known personalities with a huge following! Lerato has a virtual party coming up, where DJs taking part in it will receive 100 Flutter By LKG Sanitary Pads to donate to any charity of their choice. The virtual party will take place on Friday 05 February, with the likes of Naked DJ, Ayanda MVP, DJ Lamiez Holworthy and DJ Sumbody taking part.
“The OFFICIAL countdown has BEGUN!! Each DJ will receive a 100 #FlutterbyLKGSanitarypads to donate to the charity of their own choice #PeriodPoverty#BIGGESTVirtualParty,” Lerato announced.
