Lalla Hirayama Bags A Cool Hosting Gig. The Cars Awards, which are among the biggest South African motoring events are here. This year, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the (usually live) show will now be broadcast on DSTV channel 215 at 19:00. A number of talented celebrities have hosted the awards including Pearl Modiadie. This year Lalla Hirayama has been announced as the host of the Cars Awards.
Lalla, will be joined by local celebrities such as Robot Boii, Rob Forbes, Leah and Ms Cosmo to host the prestigious event. Performances lined up for the evening are by multi-award winning group, Mi Casa, Leah Musiek, Ms Cosmo and Robot Boii.
“The 2021 #CarsAwards are here and this time coming straight to your TV screen tonight. Catch me, your favourite celebrities and the cars that move you on @SuperSportTV Motorsport Channel 215 and @Mzansimagic at 7pm,” Lalla announced.
During the event, we will see the widely-anticipated announcement of the 13 best vehicles offered in Mzansi’s new-car market. There will also be the announcement of the coveted Brand of the Year winner.
