Twitter Drags Dr Melusi Dhlamini For Bragging About How He Drove Someone To Suicide

Twitter Drags Dr Melusi Dhlamini For Bragging About How He Drove Someone To Suicide. Since Tuesday, South African Twitter has been so hectic. Everything started when MacG was dragged for the recent episode of his podcast. MacG together with his co-hosts Sol Phenduka and Ghost Lady unpacked a number of issues currently making headlines. But how they addressed the transgenders topic, left the LGBTQI+ community fuming.

Many people called for MacG to be cancelled, more so since he was fired from radio for more or less the same problem. As his sponsor, Old Mutual took the decision to end the contract they had with MacG. As the issue escalated, many members of the LGBTQI+ community continued to share their experiences on how the society treats them. They also spoke about how social media users and those in the public platforms have been treating them over the years.

Dr Melusi Dhlamini, who is outspoken on social media streets is one of those who mentioned his own personal experience. He said he once got someone blacklisted from ever registering at any university in South Africa, until the person took their life. All of this, because the person wrote a homophobic post on Facebook. What shocked a lot of people is that Dr Dhlamini showed no remorse for the deceased and said he would do it all over again without flinching.

This did not sit well with a lot of people, more so since it came from a medical practitioner. The likes of media personality Andile Ncube, Phil Mphela and many others took to Twitter to call out Dr Dhlamini, who has since left the social media platform.
