Somizi Sings the Praises of the Talented DJ Zinhle and Uncle Waffles. How cool is it to receive your flowers while still alive! This is what just happened to DJ Zinhle and Uncle Waffles who are both doing amazing things in the male dominated industry.
Ever since she got he break less than a year ago, Uncle Waffles is a force. The club DJ and artist has been rocking big stages over the past few months. Uncle Waffles has so far performed in the United Kingdom, covering places like Manchester, London, Birmingham and Glasgow, Scotland. Just recently she was making waves in countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Portugal and Netherlands. She did a stellar job in Amsterdam, where former Manchester United football player Jesse Lingard, expressed his desire to book her for his birthday party this December.
As for DJ Zinhle, one doesn’t even know where to begin about her work. She has gotten herself various awards and nominations since her debut. Among these is Song of the year for South African Music Awards (SAMA) 2019 and Chanel O Awards nominations. In addition, she has also gotten various awards and endorsement deals with top brands in the country.
Somizi, who is also a force in the industry, took some time to sing the praises of both ladies. He is a great friend to Zinhle, and just met Waffles last night. Somizi is in aw e of Waffles’ attitude as a professional and also her amazing talent. He then gave it up to Zinhle who is an inspiration to a lot of young women out there.
“Last night was so cute and special…i finally got to meet the talented @unclewaffles_…..what a sweet humble lady….but as i was enjoying her set i cud cud not stop thinking about what @djzinhle has done to the DJ industry….she’s really thee pioneer….for women in the continent……just thought i shud give her the flowers here,” Somizi said.
