SA Celebs Join The LGBTQI Community To Call Out MacG Over His Recent Podcast. MacG Podcast has become one of the most popular YouTube channels in the country. It features weekly episode where almost every topic is discussed. Since no station wants to hire him MacG has decided to start his own channel, and it has been a hit since.
His recent content though left a lot of people not so impressed. MacG together with Sol Phenduka and Ghost Lady unpacked a number of issues making headlines, including Somizi’s current woes with the media, Miss SA Shudufhadzo Musida’s backlash from social media, Siz Ngesi unveiling Sivanna the drag queen among other things. They also spoke about transgenders, and basically how the issue was addressed left the LGBTQI community fuming.
They mentioned celebrities like Bruce Jenner, who made a transformation to become Caitlyn. Sol also spoke about a former member of G-Unit, Young Buck who used to date a transgender person. Words like she-male, woman with a dick, were thrown around during the episode, and this has not set well with a lot of tweeps.
Celebrities like Lumko Johnson, Thando Thabethe, Vuyolwethu Ngcukana, Masasa Mbangeni, Karabo Ntshweng, Mantsoe Nomzamo, Langa Mavuso and many others called out MacG, saying he is homophobic as well as transphobic.
On the other hand though, many tweeps have come to MacG’s defense. They accused the LGGBTQI community for being too sensitive. Again, some people said blacks hate it when one of their own makes it.
