Petition To Bring Back Queen Sono In Full Swing. When many waited in anticipation for second season of Queen Sono, it was sadly announced that unforeseen circumstances have forced the production to cancel the shoot. Because of COVID-19, the series abandoned their plans for season II.

Written by Kagiso Lediga, the first African Netflix original series stars the likes of Pearl Thusi, Vuyo Dabula, Loyiso Madinga and many other talented South African actors. Queen Sono is about a secret agent who fights crime while dealing with crises in her personal life.

The series captivated a lot of people, and they want it back for season II as initially planned.
