Nambitha Mpumlwana Makes A Comeback To The Small Screen. She is one of the talented veteran actresses that many have been dying to see back on screen. This is simply because Nambitha Mpumlwana is great at what she does. She is well known for playing Mawande Memela, the iconic role she killed in SABC 1’s soapie, Generations.
It has been quite some time since we saw the award winning actress and TV presenter do her thing on TV. It looks like 2021, will be a very good year, as we will get to see Nambitha back on screen again. The veteran actress has bagged herself a role in an upcoming drama series, The Kingdom. Nambitha has been cast to play, Josephine, an angel who lives in a rural African town called The Kingdom.
The drama miniseries revolves around bible parables and stories about faith, hope, love and the work of realizing the best version of ourselves. The series depicts ordinary characters who, when faced with seemingly insurmountable struggles, discover their power.
The Kingdom, also stars Karin van der Laag as Stella, Maurice Carpede as Uncle Herb, Rob van Vuuren as Mr. Angelo, Nomuzi Mabena as Gugu, Anele Matoti as Thumelo, Zimasa Dyani as Ata, Litha Bam as Thabang and Zakeeya Patel as Surya.
