Details Of The Late Minister Jackson Mthembu’s Funeral Arrangements Released. A lot of people are still struggling to come to terms with the fact that Jackson Mthembu has passed away. Unfortunately Covid-19 has made it our reality that everyday we hear sad news of our loved ones dying.

Mthembu, who was the Minister in the Presidency passed away on Thursday from COVID-19 related complications. Among the thousands of tributes, President Cyril Ramaphosa, described the late Minister as an exemplary leader, an activist and life-long champion of freedom and democracy.

According to a statement released by the South Africa Government, the late Minister, will be honoured with an Official Funeral Category 1 at his home in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, on Sunday 24 January 2021. The national flag will also be flown at half-mast at every flag station in the country from Saturday morning, until Sunday evening.
