Another thing they often use celebrities to push their agenda. If it isn’t cat-fishing, these scammers pretend to be friends with well known people.
This is exactly what happened to a young designer who was scammed by a woman claiming to be good friends with Candice Modiselle. According to the talented actress and media personality, the designer custom made some merchandise for the woman thinking she will give them to Candice. It turns out that the young designer was scammed, because the woman vanished into thin air with everything.
“This woman scammed this young designer, telling him that her and I are good friends. He custom made merch for her to give to me and she vanished with everything,” Candice said.
Candice has always warned social media followers about fake accounts under her name. For starters, she doesn’t even have a Facebook account, but, back in November 2020, she discovered that there were at least over 50 accounts on Facebook that use her identity and pictures.
“I don’t have Facebook. If a “Candice Modiselle” interacts with you, makes promises to you about job opportunities, asks for money etc, it’s a fake account. I don’t have Facebook at all,” Candice warned her fans and followers.
