Trevor Noah Apologises For His India and Pakistan Conflict Joke. There is a thin line between joking and being insensitive. When it come to comedy, some people get divided between humor and insenistivity. Trevor Noah found himself in a hot soup with some people who did not receive his joke well.

Trevor added his humor when he spoke about the conflict between India and Pakistan. Using Bollywood stereotype, Noah said a war between the two would be “the most entertaining”, adding “it would also be the longest war of all time – another dance number!”. This did not sit well with many.

In his apology the comedian said, “As a comedian I use comedy to process pain and discomfort in my world but I am sorry that this hurt you and others, that’s not what I was trying to do.”
